Community Mediation Peterborough
Located at the Peterborough Police Service station, 500 Water Street, Peterborough, open Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 705-741-4400
The Peterborough Police Service have administrative space at the Township of Cavan Monaghan Municipal Office, 988 County Road 10, Millbrook.

Our Police Service has partnered with Nexicom, the Peterborough Emergency Management Division, Trent University and Fleming College to provide this text alert service. Anyone can register for this text alert notification system, they will be able to select from a variety of alerts they wish to receive including crime alerts, emergency alerts and school alerts. Creating Safer Communities
The Peterborough Police Service offers several programs aimed a creating partnerships between police and residents to help keep the communities we serve as safe as possible.
These are:
CAMSafe
The CAMSafe Program is a volunteer registry of CCTV, video cameras and doorbell cams in the City of Peterborough, Village of Lakefield, and Township of Cavan-Monaghan.
Homeguard Inspections
The Homeguard Inspection Program is a community-based crime prevention initiative of our Auxiliary officers. This allows community members to take an active role in making their homes less susceptible to criminal activity.
CPTED Audit
Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) Audits are offered to businesses in our policing area. Email the Auxiliary Unit to book your appointment.
