A multi-day heat event is expected, with daytime temperatures of 34–36°C and humidex values in the low-to-mid 40s.
Please take steps to stay safe.
Cooling/heat relief locations are available:
  • The Cavan Monaghan Community Centre will be open
    • 7am to 11pm Monday through Friday (10pm on Canada Day)
    • 6am to 12pm Saturday and Sunday.  
  • Splash pad at the CMCC is open daily from 9am to dusk
  • Millbrook and Bruce Johnston Libraries (see website for hours of operation: https://cavanmonaghanlibraries.ca/
