Animal Control
Animal Control is responsible for the licensing and registration of dogs, kennel operations and for the prohibiting or regulating the running at large of dogs.
If you wish to request a dog tag by mail, please complete the online form for each dog owned. Once your application is received by staff, an invoice will be emailed to you with payment instructions. Upon receipt of payment, your dog tag will be forwarded to you by mail.
You may also print this form for each dog owned, enclose it with your payment and mail or drop off at the Township Office. Your dog tag will be forwarded to you by mail.

A Dog Tag will help the Animal Control Officer return your lost dog to you.
Kennel Licenses are subject to regulations listed in Section 11.18 in the Township Zoning By-law. For more information please contact the Planning Department at 705-932-9321.

*Clinic also offers microchipping
The reduce rate for the rabies vaccine is $40 and some clinics are also offering microchipping at a reduced rate ranging between $40-$60. When attending a clinic, dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers or otherwise securely restrained. Owners should bring proof of previous rabies vaccination if available.
