Parking

Regulations about traffic and parking in the Township are detailed in By-law 2024-56.  

Parking is prohibited in the following places:

  • in front of a public or private driveway;
  • Within nine (9) metres of an intersection;
  • Within three 93) metres of a Fire Hydrant;
  • On any highway between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.;
  • On any Highway in such a manner as to obstruct or impede the removal of snow from the highway;
  • Within any cul-de-sac area;
  • In such a way that obstructs a sidewalk or walkways, or obstruct the sodded boulevard beside the driveway approach between the sidewalk and curb line,
  • Unless otherwise permitted, no person shall park a vehicle on any highway for longer than four (4) hours.

When properly worded signs have been erected and are on display, no persona shall park on the street except as permitted herein:
