Open Air Burning Restriction - July 29, 2025

The Fire Chief wishes to advise the residents of the Township of Cavan Monaghan of the following restrictions surrounding open air burning in the Township of Cavan Monaghan. These restrictions are issued based on our area's risk of fire due to lack of precipitation and/or adverse weather conditions (i.e.: high winds, high smog levels, extreme heat, etc.).    

Effective immediately, no burning permitted except for campfires in the evenings from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
