Millbrook Water Main Break – Weekend Services

The Boil Water Order is still in effect for the Village of Millbrook in the Township of Cavan Monaghan and will continue over the weekend. Water coming from taps is currently untreated and unsafe. We are asking residents to refrain from using water beyond flushing toilets.

The City of Peterborough has made shower access available to Cavan Monaghan residents at the Peterborough Memorial Centre (located at 151 Lansdowne St. West) between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. starting Friday September 5 and continuing through the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Please enter the Peterborough Memorial Centre through the main front door and check the TV monitors in the lobby for the dressing room assignment for shower access.  Please bring your own toiletries and towel.

A Potable water truck is available at the Cavan Monaghan Community Centre until 11 p.m. tonight. Residents can fill their water jugs free of charge. This service will be in place from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. until full water services are restored.

Crews continue to work around the clock to restore services. Ongoing updates will be provided on the Township website at: www.cavanmonaghan.net and through Township social media channels.

Thank you for your patience.
