In Memory of Catherine (Cathy) Moore.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Catherine (Cathy) Moore.

Cathy’s dedicated and passionate public service as Councillor for Cavan Monaghan will be greatly missed.

Cathy worked hard in everything she did, especially for her constituents. She fell in love with her late husband Dennis Moore and moved to Cavan 50 years ago. She contributed as a business owner for decades before transitioning to politics.

She took her role as Councillor very seriously. She was fair and honest and never missed a detail.

Cathy’s public service made a tremendous positive impact on our township and we are grateful for her service. Her passing will leave a huge void in both the community and at council.

We are sending our condolences to her husband Bill Shaw, daughter Jennifer, son Ryan and her beloved granddaughters.
