Cavan Monaghan Township seeking volunteers for Downtown Park and Remaining CMCC Lands Task Force

Council for the Township of Cavan Monaghan are seeking volunteer members for a Task Force for the development of the Downtown Park and remaining CMCC Lands.
The Task Force will work with Preferred Site Plans identified by residents as part of the public consultation process that took place earlier this year. “Development of the Park and remaining lands at the Cavan Monaghan Community Centre are critical to meeting the needs of our community,” says Mayor Matthew Graham. “It is important that we cultivate the expertise in our community to move these projects forward.”
The Township is seeking three (3) volunteers from the Community with experience in urban planning and/or landscape design, recreation or art design and heritage. Members of the Task Force will prioritize the phases of development and explore funding opportunities for future recreational needs.
