2024 Capital and Operating Budget Meetings

The Council of the Township of Cavan Monaghan intends to review the 2024 draft Capital and Operating Budgets at the following meetings, as identified below.  All Council meetings are held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office and are also available to view on the Township of Cavan Monaghan YouTube channel. 

• January 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.     Special Budget Meeting    
• January 25, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.     Special Budget Meeting for Public Comment

The Public are invited to make comment in person before Council at the Special Budget Meeting.  If you are interested in speaking to Council, during the meeting at 6:00 p.m., please contact the Clerk, Cindy Page, in advance by email cpage@cavanmonaghan.net or by phone 705-932-9326 to obtain the information on participating.

If you are unable to view or attend any of the Special Budget Meetings, the meeting recording will also be posted to the Township's YouTube Channel thereafter for the Public to watch at their convenience. 

The Council of the Township of Cavan Monaghan intends to adopt the 2024 Capital and Operating Budgets at the February 20, 2024 Regular Council Meeting.

Budget documents, are posted online at www.cavanmonaghan.net/2024BudgetDocuments. Hard copies may also be purchased at the Township Office.

The purpose of the 2024 Capital and Operating Budget is to establish the operating expenditures and revenues, the capital expenditures and to set the 2024 Municipal Tax Levy.
