2026 Candidates
To run for the office of Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillor or School Board Trustee you must file a Nomination Paper
- Until you file a Nomination Paper, you cannot raise or spend any money on your campaign.
- Candidates running for the position of Mayor, Deputy Mayor or Councillor must also provide at least 25 endorsement signatures from eligible electors using the prescribed form
Nomination papers can be filed during regular office hours at the Clerk's Office from May 1 to August 20, 2026 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on August 21, 2026 (Nomination Day) via appointment if possible.

Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing Presents: Candidate and Third Party Advertiser Training in Millbrook
- Date: April 8, 2026
- Time: 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.
- Location: Cavan Monaghan Community Centre, 986 County Road 10, Millbrook, ON
