Community Profile

Cavan Monaghan is a strong, sustainable rural community. We celebrate, protect and promote our unique history and natural heritage, and value the contribution and interests of all ratepay-ers in building a prosperous future.

We are located approximately 20 km south west of the City of Peterborough, in Peterborough County. The Highway #115 corridor runs through our Municipality, as does County Road #28. We are located only 90 min. north east of the largest city in Canada, Toronto and three hours south west of our Nation's Capital, Ottawa, ON.

The Township of Cavan Monaghan is "Open for Business" with a mix of Industrial, Agricultural and Commercial activities and would be more than receptive to any development proposals. One would certainly "Have it All. Right Here".
