Curbside Garbage Pick-up Delayed

Curbside garbage services for the following areas have been delayed until Saturday, November 15 due to mechanical issues.

Millbrook, 

Cedar Valley Road,

Hutchison Line,

County Road 21 (east of Millbrook),

Fallis Line,

Valleyview Drive

Morningside Place, 

Towerhill South Subdivision,

Huston Street

Carveth Drive, 

Elgar Drive & White Birch Road.

County Road 28 (between Moore Drive and County Road 21)

Recycling and curbside organics are not affected by this issue.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please have garbage out by 7:00 a.m. for pick-up.

October Utility Bills Update

October utility bills that were impacted by the Canada Post service disruptions were mailed to customers on November 4th, 2025.  

Residents can register for paperless billing at anytime at: www.cavanmonaghan.net/gopaperless.  

Staff are available in person and by phone to assist with account inquiries during regular business hours. Call 705-932-2929 for support. A drop-off box is also available at the Municipal Office for payments and correspondence.

Zoning By-law Amendment ZBA-04-25

Take Notice, the Township Council will hold a Public Meeting in accordance with Section 34 of the Planning 

Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended for the Zoning By-law Amendment Application ZBA-04-25
(838 Rothsay Avenue).

Meeting Date:    Tuesday September 2, 2025
Location:           Township of Cavan Monaghan Council Chambers
                             988 County Road 10, Millbrook
Time:                  1 p.m.

The lands subject to the zoning by-law amendment application are shown on the key map and the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment and additional details are provided in the Notice of Public Meeting.

Any person may attend the public meeting and make written and/or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If you are unable to attend the meeting, written submissions may be submitted and should include a request for further notice, if desired. Written submissions must be received by the Clerk’s Office no later than 9 a.m. on September 2nd, 2025.

If you wish to view the public meeting in real time, but do not wish to speak to the application, the meeting will be hosted on the Township’s YouTube Channel at:

The meeting will also be recorded and available after the meeting for public viewing on
