October Utility Bills Update

October utility bills that were impacted by the Canada Post service disruptions were mailed to customers on November 4th, 2025.  

Residents can register for paperless billing at anytime at: www.cavanmonaghan.net/gopaperless.  

Staff are available in person and by phone to assist with account inquiries during regular business hours. Call 705-932-2929 for support. A drop-off box is also available at the Municipal Office for payments and correspondence.

In Loving Memory of Neal Cathcart

November 20, 2025

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Neal Cathcart in his 81st year on November 14th, 2025.  Neal passed away peacefully at Centennial Place Millbrook.  He was the beloved son of Marguerite Cathcart (Neals) 2012 and Donald Cathcart 2007.

Neal's dedication and passion for public service will be greatly missed.  Neal served for many years as Councilor and Reeve of the former Cavan Millbrook North Monaghan Township (now the Township of Cavan Monaghan) and as Peterborough County Warden from 2005-2006. 

Neal's public service made a tremendous positive impact on our township and we are grateful for his service. .

On behalf of Mayor Graham, Council and Township Staff and the residents of Cavan Monaghan our deepest sympathy to the Cathcart family.
