Yellow Air Quality Warning in Effect.

Please be advised that a Yellow Air Quality Warning is in Effect for the region.
Wildfire smoke is affecting air quality across Haliburton County, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, and surrounding areas. Poor air quality may persist into tonight.
Residents are encourgaged to limit time outdoors and consider reducing or rescheduling strenuous outdoor activities if you experience symptoms such as coughing, throat irritation, or headaches. Consult your primary care provider about how to protect your health.
Keep windows and doors closed as much as possible. Those at higher risk including older adults, young children, pregnant individuals, and people with chronic health conditions should take extra precautions.
Lakelands Public Health advises that when both heat and air quality warnings are in place, most people should prioritize keeping cool.

Tapley 1/4 Line Road Closure - November 25th to the 27th

Please be advised that Tapley 1/4 Line will be closed just north of Syer Line to accommodate working being done on the CP Rail crossing.   The closure is in effect from Tuesday November 25th to Thursday November 27th.
