Road Closure Notice: Needler's Lane

Needler’s Lane will be permanently closed to vehicle and pedestrian access beginning Monday, July 13, 2026. This closure is to allow for the replacement of watermain infrastructure and is the first step in the development of the long-awaited Downtown Park.

Residents, businesses, visitors, delivery drivers, and service providers are asked to plan ahead and use alternate routes. A map showing the closure area is below. 

The Municipality is excited to begin this important downtown improvement project and appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as work gets underway.

Information for Residents and Businesses

·       Access to Needler’s Lane will no longer be available as of July 13.

·       Please share this notice with staff, tenants, customers, delivery services, contractors, and anyone who may regularly use Needler’s Lane.

·       Businesses are encouraged to notify suppliers and service providers in advance so deliveries and appointments can be adjusted as needed.

·       Residents, business owners and visitors should follow posted signage and use surrounding streets for access to downtown destinations.
