The Township of Cavan Monaghan has a  Municipal Alcohol Policy  if you are considering serving alcohol during your event/rental. 

Cedar Valley Park
Located on the Cedar Valley Rd, Cedar Valley Park is a community green-space with play equipmentand a half court basketball court for children to enjoy.

Edgewood Park
Located near the Hamlet of Mount Pleasant, Edgewood Park is a small green-space with a swing set that serves the residents of the Edgewood Park subdivision.


Maple Leaf Park
Located at 1473 County Road 10, Maple Leaf Park contains two baseball diamonds and two soccer pitch. Over the past few years the playground equipment has been replaced and is located on the south end of the property. In 2009 Council approved a new structure which is home to a consession booth and accesible washrooms. Maple Leaf Park is primarily used for baseball and soccer; however, family reunions and picnics often utilize the park for outdoor recreation.


Medd's Mountain
Located adjacent to Millpond Park, Medd's Mountain serves as a natural parkland for the environmentalist at heart. Expansive natural habitat surrounds a shelter which is located at the head of the Millbrook Valley Trails System. 


Millpond Park
Surrounding the Old Mill, Millpond Park serves as a peaceful resting area for residents of, and visitors to the Township of Cavan Monaghan. One of the most picturesque locations within the municipality, Millpond Park contains picnic areas and maintained green-space around the Millpond. Millpond Park acts as host for the Millbrook & District Lions Club Fishing Derby held every year on the opening day of fishing season.

Peace Park
Located at 2199 Davis Rd within the boundaries of North Monaghan Ward, Peace Park is primarily natural parkland area with a small playground structure for children to enjoy.


Station Park
This park has a reproduction of an open-air structure that features a roofline that mirrors the design from the former Millbrook Train Depot. The creation of the park has provided a scenic and tranquil location for people to relax and enjoy the rich heritage our community has to offer.


Bruce Johnston Library

Located at 2199 Davis Road within the boundaries of North Monaghan Ward. In 2004, a 1200 square foot addition was built to accomodate the increased use by residents of North Monaghan and Cavan. Patrons and staff appreciate the new programming room, additional computers and the new shelving to expand the collection for adults, teens and children.

Cavan Monaghan Community Centre
Located at 4 Needler's Lane, Millbrook. The Community Centre consists of 1 refrigerated artificial ice surface slab that facilitates winter ice hockey, figure skating, and pleasure skating. The refrigerated concrete slab is utilized for summer activities and special events on a fee for service basis. The Community Centre also contains a second story banquet facility that seats 212 patrons. The banquet facility is not licensed by the Liquor License Board of Ontario. Any group wishing to have alcoholic beverages must supply the Township with proof of a valid Special Occasion Permits through the Liquor Control Board of Ontario for the date of the event. 

Cavan Monaghan Municipal Office
Located at 988 County Road 10 , the Cavan Monaghan Municipal Office serves the residents of the municipality in an administrative capacity. By simply dialing (705) 932-2929 the municipality is at your fingertips.

Needler's Mill
Located adjacent to the Cavan Monaghan Community Centre, Needler's Mill is a heritage building that once existed as a functional mill. The building currently serves as home for the Red Cross Loan Cupboard.

The Old Millbrook Fire Hall
The Old Millbrook Fire Hall is leased to the Cavan-Millbrook Fire-fighters Association. The Cavan-Millbrook Fire-fighters Association currently maintains the old hall as a museum that serves as a monument to fire-fighting services from yesteryear.

The Old Millbrook School
Located in Millbrook at 1 Dufferin Street, the Old Millbrook School is a designated heritage building. It is utilized by The Old SChool Family Cntre, Millbrook Branch Library, Community Policing and the Millbrook and District Food Share. The Old Millbrook School is situated on an expansive green-space that is utilized for outdoor recreation. In 1999 the Old Millbrook School became home to the Millbrook Public Library and plans are underway to make the Old Millbrook School home for many community organizations.
