Notice of Class Environmental Assessment

Please be advised that the Township of Cavan Monaghan is undertaking a Class Environmental Assessment for both water and wastewater servicing in North Monaghan. This Class EA will determine servicing requirements to support strategic growth in North Monaghan, including Fraserville, Kawartha Downs, Peterborough Airport, Springville, Five Mile Turn and the employment expansion areas in between.

Public consultation is critical to the success of the study. We welcome your comments and will provide opportunities for your input throughout the study. There will be a Public Information Centre (PIC) scheduled, providing an opportunity to share information, obtain your input and respond to questions. Further details on the upcoming PIC will be provided as the project progresses. The Class EA is planned to be completed in 2028.
